Tickets are $1.00. Sold on parade route.
Tickets will go on sale starting May 16th.
Tickets will also be sold before and during the 4th of July
parade along the route, watch for the bright green shirts.
The winning ticket number will be displayed on the last parade entry during the Annual American
Legion 4th of July Parade and, on the Sullivan Chamber & Economic Development website

Come enjoy the 4th of July in Sullivan. The Sullivan Chamber & Economic Development invites you to come visit us at the Welcome Center located at 112 West Harrison Street starting at 11:00 a.m. for a cold glass of free lemonade. We will be happy to help you schedule your day so that you can enjoy all of the days activities. Then take a short walk and have a seat (don’t forget your lawn chair), and enjoy the Sullivan American Legion 2008 4th of July Parade starting at 12 noon. The parade will begin at the High School parking lot, travel south on Hamilton Street (Route 32), turn east on Jefferson, then continue around the square and back to the High School via Main Street. Plan to stay all day and enjoy the carnival hosted by the American Legion Post #68 and be sure to watch the Watermelon Eating Contest and the Sack Races in Wyman park following the parade. Many Chamber member businesses can provide a picnic lunch to take to the park or consider a reprieve from the “dog days of summer” inside one of our many restaurants for both lunch and dinner. When evening starts to draw near, head over to Wyman Park, located on North Main Street for the fabulous fire works display provided by the Sullivan American Legion Post #68 and local businesses.
Sullivan is a great place to spend your 4th of July vacation as we also have Lake Shelbyville for
those who wish to camp, boat or enjoy the beach. There is something for everyone.
